Day 02: Trjavna - Etara - Drjanovo Monastery - Varna |

After breakfast depart to Sokolski Monastery, built in 1833 and still operating monastery with a diverse history. The complex consists of a church, residential and farm buildings. A beautiful white stoned fountain with 8 spouts, decorated with statues of falcons is rising in the middle of the monastery yard.
Continue to Etara, an open-air ethnographic and architectural complex, representing the Bulgarian style of life in the past, culture and traditions.
Lunch in Etara.
On the way back visit the Drjanovo Monastery "St.Archangel Michael", situated amidst unique landscape of rolling hills, steep rock chains and caves. It was founded during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom by the two boyars, the brothers Assen and Petar. In the 14th century the holy place was one of the main centers of Hesychasm and shelters many monks.
